Fall Colors in Grand Teton National Park

09/20/2018 @ 8:00 am - 09/23/2018 @ 11:00 am

Grand Teton National Park in fall offers photographers some of the most majestic and colorful landscapes in the United States.  From iconic scenes, like Oxbow Bend and Snake River Overlook, to blazing aspens along shorelines.  Grand Teton National is one of the most photographed parks in the National Parks System for good reason.  Grand Tetons’ embarrassment of riches includes alpenglow on snowcapped peaks, surrounded by pristine lakes and wide-open spaces which makes it an excellent location to capture some award-winning images. Grand Teton is also considered the best national park to photograph wildlife as well.

The park is nestled along the Teton Range, a sub range of the Rocky Mountains and Jackson Hole; the valley that the Snake River meanders through.  The Teton Range is often called America’s most spectacular.  It is a very young range (10 million years old) and therefore still has very sharp features. Incredible landscapes abound, as does wildlife.

Join APT for a bucket-list photography adventure. We will take you to the most scenic locations at just the right times to capture these locations in fall-colored glory.  We will also take you to some less known areas but are just as beautiful. Of course, we will share tips and insights on how to perfectly capture this magnificent landscape.

The light moves fast, so you will receive photo tips sheets in advance to ensure you’re ready to capture these beautiful scenes when the light is hitting just right. After the workshop, you’ll receive video tutorials demonstrating how we post-process the images we captured.

Here is a summary of our recent Grand Teton National Park Summer 2018 Workshop in case you would like to know what to expect.

Due to our permit restrictions, we are limited to 12 participants on this exciting workshop.

The total cost of this workshop is $900.00.   An initial deposit of $300.00 will reserve your spot.  The remainder must be paid 30 days prior to the workshop.

You will be required to read and sign an Acknowledgement of Risks form.  This form will be sent to you after you RSVP.

Due to the outlay of expenses prior to the workshop, once your deposit is paid, no refunds can be given unless the workshop is cancelled. We strongly advise trip insurance to protect yourself in the event that unavoidable circumstances prevent you from making the trip.  For travel insurance, visit RoamRight. If you would like to call RoamRight, dial 844-631-6705 and mention American Photo Treks.  They can insure any non-refundable expenses.  We have used them before for travel insurance.

Once you RSVP, addition information will be sent to you.

Lodging is not included.  Please make your own lodging accommodations near the park.  Lodging and camping is available in and around the park as well as nearby Jackson, Wyoming.

We suggest that you bring food for snacks during the day. After sunrise, we’ll stop for a late morning brunch.
